Meet Dr. J. David Sandridge

Dr. Sandridge is a Texas native from Sherman. He graduated from Baylor University in Waco, followed by Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Immediately after graduation in 1985, he came to Plano and opened his solo private practice. He and Dr. William Nicholson founded WestPark Dental Associates in 1993 near the intersection of Coit and Park. WestPark Dental moved to its current location in 2005.

Dr. Sandridge is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and actively attends regional and national meetings for his dental growth and development. Dr. Sandridge considers dental education to be an ongoing process which enables him to provide his patients with the latest dental expertise and advancements.

In 2012, Dr. Sandridge won the “Readers Choice Award” for Best Cosmetic Dentist in North Texas, and has been recognized several times by the Consumers’ Research Council of America in it’s “America’s Top Dentists” award category.

Dr. Sandridge and his wife Terri are proud parents of three Razorbacks: Lesley, Mycah, and Carly and their dog Laney. They have welcomed sons-in- law Andrew in 2014, Jonathan in 2018, and Jake in 2021. Dr. Sandridge and Terri are proud grandparents of four grandchildren, AJ, Logan, Quinn, and Lily! They are members of Christ United Methodist Church in Plano. In his spare time, Dr. Sandridge enjoys being with his family, jogging, bicycling, golfing, and fishing.
